The History of Tracmac
All our directors come from previously disadvantaged communities. Tracmac Enterprises (Pty) Ltd is endowed with different business skills due to its member's different backgrounds and experiences. Plant Maintenance experience was mainly gained in both Light and Heavy Manufacturing Industries, Sea going Vessels, Mining and Petrochemical Industries. The significant Petroleum Industry experience has been gained mainly, in Sales and Marketing functions and providing Engineering support to customers.

Tracmac Enterprises (Pty)Ltd member’s combined engineering maintenance and petrochemical industry experience is in excess of 25 years.
Abraham McNellie - Group Chairman
Abraham McNellie has held a number of Engineering Maintenance positions, including
that of Engineering Maintenance Manager. He has experience working with pressured
vessels, having worked for Afrox and has extensive hands on metals machining
experience. Abraham worked with both pneumatics and hydraulics equipment. His
experience also includes working as a Plant Tribologist having acquired extensive
lubricants working knowledge.
One of his major achievements was working as a plant Superintendent for a big
manufacturing concern in the island of Brunei. Abraham is a qualified Fitter and Turner
by trade and holds a Diploma in Plant Maintenance Management and Certificate in
Production Management from Damelin Business College.
Alan John
Alan has held numerous Technology and IT related posts in South Africa and abroad.
Serving Multi-National companies and Banks in Brunei Darussalam and developing
cutting edge mobile technologies and e-security solutions based in Singapore, Alan has
gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience in today's evolving technology
markets.
Overseeing teams of developers, Alan ensures that the technical infrastructure and
resources are deployed in a manner to support business objectives. Translating real
world requirements into quantifiable projects and deliverables that are secure, highly
available and scalable.
